The Last Week of Events in December to Ring in the New Year
Venardos Circus: The Venardos Circus is back at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre this year with shows December 18th, 2021 through January 2nd, 2022. The Circus is produced by the Ringling Bros. and features a combination of Broadway style and high-quality entertainment under the classic red striped tent. The show includes NO performing animals, and is roughly 90 minutes long with a brief intermission. This performance is not one to miss for you or your family!
The Nights of Lights: As always, the Nights of Lights will be available for viewing through the end of January 2022. The Nights of Lights is available for viewing by foot, or you can take tours by trolley or train, and don’t forget about the water too! Ripley’s Believe it or Not will be running red train tours as well as Old Town Trolley’s. If you and your family are planning on visiting, make sure to take a stroll or a ride around town and witness the majestic light display!

New Years Eve Firework Celebration
This year the fireworks will be held at the St. Augustine Beach Pier at 8:30 p.m. The Light Up the Night New Year’s Eve Firework show will be preceded by a Beach Blvd Block Party in which all the surrounding local businesses will celebrate with food, drinks, live music and entertainment. The Block Party will also have events for children! There will be three locations along A1A Beach Blvd that will be designated firework viewing spots, so guests will be able to spread out along the road to watch the firework show that night. Anastasia Baptist Church will offer a shuttle service and parking to one of the three viewing locations along the road. Admission to the fireworks and the block party are completely free and open to the public.
As you can see, the New Year’s celebration in St. Augustine is jam packed full of fun for the entire family! Here at Beacher’s Lodge, we have limited availability for rooms and as always, spots will fill up quickly, so be sure to book with us now!
