We can finally say that things here in St. Augustine are finally getting back to a little bit of normalcy. There are many businesses open and patiently waiting for you to visit. While we are so excited to finally see you again, we are still trying to be safe and keep everyone well. It is important to us that while you are vacationing here and enjoying your time at the beach, you also practice protocols to ensure your safety and well being.
Here are a few things to expect when visiting the area during this time*.

- Restaurants in the area are open to 50% capacity inside, and full capacity outside. So go ahead and enjoy that Florida sunshine!
- Bars, pubs, concert venues, and movie theatres are open to 50% capacity. This includes bars inside of restaurants, they are allowed to accept 50% capacity as well.
- Some attractions in the area are open. Be sure to call before arriving so you are aware of their hours and any other information you may need.
- All beaches are back open to regular hours, including relaxing and tanning. Please keep practicing social distancing at the beach as well.
- Businesses such as tattoo parlors, massage and tanning businesses are also allowed to be open. They may be following extra rules depending on their needs. Call those businesses directly for their rules during this time.
- Masks are not being forced to wear in the state of Florida, but wear one if you’d like.

You don’t have to be here in person to shop local, so remember to check out websites of businesses to shop online. This is great too if you’re more comfortable shopping that way. Supporting our local businesses here is so important to us, especially after businesses having to close down due to Covid19.
OldCity has a list of businesses and restaurants that are currently open. Every effort is being made to ensure that updating this local website as often as possible. Also included in this list are main attractions that have activities online if they are not open to the public yet. This website also has a list for testing locations if you feel that you may need to be tested during your stay with us. Check it out for updated information and as always, stay safe. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to Crescent Beach!
*Please be aware that while these are general rules for the state of Florida for reopening, some businesses may operate on their own guidelines and rules as well. Therefore, if you are not sure about a business, give them a call or check their website for hours and any other rules they may be following. This can include wearing masks, only allowing a certain number of shoppers in the store at a given time, or curbside pickup only.
