The 20th Anniversary edition of the popular Gamble Rogers Music Festival brings the best in American folk music to St. Augustine. The festival is a celebration of the music and storytelling of Gamble Rogers — an artist the Atlanta Constitution called “an American treasure worthy of inclusion in the Smithsonian.” In 1991 at the peak of his career, Rogers died tragically while trying to save a drowning man. WILCO, the outstanding American sextet from Chicago, is the festival’s opener and performs at 7 p.m. at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
