Everyone is invited to the 18th Annual St. Augustine Lighthouse festival set for Saturday, March 20! Admission is free to this popular event that not only features an opportunity to climb the historic tower and visit the impressive museum, but also offers food, fun and entertainment for the entire family.
The festival brings children's games, pony rides, live entertainment, nature talks, crafts and refreshments to the historic grounds of the Victorian-era light station. Climbing to the top of the tower for an inspiring view of the OldestCity, the Atlantic Ocean and the beaches is one of the highlights for festival-goers. Please remember that for their safety, children need to be at least 44 inches tall to climb the tower and an adult must accompany children under 12. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
ST. AUGUSTINE, FL - On Saturday, March 20, join thousands at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum's 18th Annual Lighthouse Festival for a celebration of community and maritime history.
Admission to the tower, museum and grounds is free from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The maritime museum will be filled with children's games and maritime crafts, pony rides, live entertainment, and refreshments. Please remember that for their safety, children need to be 44' tall in order to climb the tower, and an adult must accompany children under 12.
As is part of the annual tradition, the Junior Service League of St. Augustine's 5K Run/Walk will be held during Festival. The 5K Run begins at 4:30 p.m. and the Fun Run will begin shortly after. Both races will start and finish in front of the lawn of the Keepers' house.
The Lighthouse & Museum's maritime festival will feature hands-on activities for children including the opportunity to buy, build and sail their own model boat. Radio Disney AM 600 and the Disney Fun Squad Cast, returns for the fifth consecutive year, and will broadcast live from 11 am - 1 pm; and local entertainers will perform throughout the day.
Free parking for the festival will be available at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Old Town Trolley will provide a complimentary shuttle service from the amphitheatre to the lighthouse.
