"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Beacher's from 8/3 (Tuesday) to 8/9 (Monday)! My 70-pound Greyhound and I stayed in #109 and we loved it! The bed and couch were very comfotaable- I was asleep most nights by about 10PM and got up to walk my 'moose' every morning at about 2 to 3Am. The area was deserted and I didn't see a soul, nor did I feel afraid. Just black skies and yellow stars and me picking up anything the dog left behind...Wonderful area restaurants (Sunset Grille, Wildflower Cafe, Le Pavillon in St. Augustine), some less-than-stellar nearer the condos, but I had a blast and just relaxed. Miss Pauline at the front desk was delightful to talk with and all of the maintenance and housekeeping staff were great as well. Miss Bonnie kept the rooms tidy and my towels fresh and lots of coffee refills and filters! I felt like a rock star and so did my dog! I would have liked a better reading light, but next time I can always run to Target and pick one up. The pool was delightful and refreshing and I enjoyed every minute I spent there. Can't wait to return!!!"

"This place was great! We had reservations at another location in St. Augustine and quickly realized that we needed to relocate. The Beacher's Lodge was very clean, nice, and right on the beach (with a great balcony view!). The staff were friendly and helpful. It is worth the extra 10 minute drive to stay here if you're in the St. Augustine area."

"This was a great place! I loved it because it was pet friendly and my Basset Hound, my boyfriend, his cousin, and I had a wonderful time. We are planning on going back in September 2010...can't wait to get back! The room was great overlooking the pool and the ocean and the staff was very nice and courteous!"

"We vacationed here in June at the recommendation of someone at a dental office. I was hesitant because we had reservations closer to St. Augustine. We were so glad we changed our plans! Being able to cook in the spacious and clean kitchen then enjoy our meals on our balcony was much nicer than the standard room with only two beds that we originally planned. This weekend we are back again to enjoy the pool, the beach, spend time together as a family and celebrate my 40th birthday. We love staying here!!!"

"My family stayed here last year on spring vacation... we saw this great place, one year, on our way from South Carolina to Key Largo, to meet family. That year, we had stayed at a regular hotel, to sleep over on our journey, but made note of the Beacher's, so that we could stay there on our next pass-through to KL. Thank goodness that we did so that next year. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in-between those visits, and was sick, but so happy to be here last year... it was memorable and beautiful for all of us. I promised him that we would come again... and here we are, but he is no longer with us. I imagine him smiling, seeing us here again."
