There are so many natural treasures in our area, but during this time of the year perhaps my favorite is Ravine Gardens in Palatka, Fl. Beacher's Lodge is only a 30 minute car drive away from the gorgeous ravine in full bloom with azaleas... there is a loop that takes you around the ravine and plenty of nature trails leading down into the ravine. There is also a butterfly garden! You can walk the loop, or run it, bike it, drive it...take your furry friend along for some fresh air and take in the beauty of the great outdoors.
