If you haven't enjoyed the beauty of the intracoastal waterway in St. Augustine, well, you haven't really enjoyed St. Augustine to it's fullest. Crescent Beach is St. Augustine's southern most beach, about 6 miles north of Marineland. We are located 10 miles south of the bridge of Lions (the heart of the historic downtown area). There are no rocks or sharp coquina sand like you will find on other beaches in the area, just plenty of nice clean sand to walk, bike or enjoy with the kids and pets. Turtle Season Begins May 1st
Turtle season begins on the beach May 1st, with Sea Turtle Washback Season July 1st - November 30th. As the turtles are now starting to nest, the washback season is when the young turtles make their way to the water.
